What is batch scaling?
Batch scaling is multiplying every ingredient in a recipe by the same factor so the total weight (or volume) increases or decreases while keeping proportions identical. Our Batch Scaler does this automatically.
Can I use percentage mode?
Yes! Switch to Percentage Mode at the top of the page. Enter each ingredient as a percentage of the total recipe weight (must total 100%). The tool calculates the scaled weight for you.
Does it work for soap, candle, and food recipes?
Absolutely. The Batch Scaler is universal — it works with any recipe that uses weight-based measurements (oz, g, kg, lb). Just enter your ingredients and set the target weight.
How do I save my recipes?
Click "Save Recipe" after entering ingredients. Recipes are stored in your browser's localStorage (up to 50). Saved recipes appear in the "Saved Recipes" section below.
